This private residence renovation in Philadelphia was completed in three phases of work to accommodate academic schedules. Original plaster and heart pine floors were kept and integrated into the new work. An altered stair core and beech cabinetry provide new divisions to the floors and a clean contrast to the older areas. The owners are considering a fourth phase to include a green roof and a rain water harvesting system.
